Position Responsibilities:
- Help physical therapists to provide treatment that improves patient mobility, relieves pain, and prevents or lessens
physical disabilities of patients
- Performs a variety of tasks as well as provides part of a patient’s treatment which may include helping patients exercise,
using medical equipment, giving messages, traction, and ultra sound
- Records the patient’s response to treatment and reports the outcome of each treatment to the physical therapist
- Data/records for the designated department areas to include orthopedic support and patient
Position Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Associate Degree program
Licensure: APTA or state licensure
Experience: 1-2 years of full-time experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
BLS certification
